Hero Run 2015 Recap!

So, if you're living in Bandung, you might have an idea about what I'm talking about.

Does #runwithapurpose ring a bell?

I'm talking about the Hero Run 2015, people!

For people who have no idea what the flying frick is going on, Hero Run 2015 is a charity run organized by the Grade 11 and Grade 12 students of Sekolah Mutiara Nusantara, which is my school. The run itself was a 5-kilometer trail run, and afterwards there were 2 bands and 2 DJ performances. It was held on the 31st of January, 2015 (aka yesterday), in Sukawana Forest (actually it's called Desa Kertajaya, Sukawana is quite a ways from the actual area) of the Parongpong region.

First, let me talk about the prep. We took a total of around 4-5 months to plan and organize this event.

Not kidding.

And it was a pretty big event too! I believe around 700 tickets were sold. Sadly, my brother-from-another-mother KirinMax did not come. Something about having lessons, I think? Really can't blame him though, from what I heard his A-Levels are INSANE.

Well, re-registration started at around 11 am. Some of us were at the area starting 9.40 am or so, to help with setting up the area and cleaning up the spaces, as well as preparing the bib numbers. There were 6 re-registration tables, and two people were assigned at each table. I was with my friend Melina at the fifth table.

It really started to get packed at around...12.30 pm, I guess, when I saw three particular people form my Brave Frontier friendlist come and register: Wolves, Shiwi, and Wilosbp, along with their friend Jeremy. Let's just say we're on a race to get Cardes now.

It was drizzling at this time, but it turned sunny before the run started, thank goodness.

By 1 pm, people were coming in by the tens and the registration tables were PACKED. There were few troubles (like someone not having a ticket when registering), but other than that, everything went quite well. We were only able to sit down for a while and eat lunch starting 2.30 pm, and by then my legs were sore from standing up the entire time.

...and whaddaya know, there were already people finishing the race while we were eating. I helped give out medals for a while before going to my cousin, former Brave Frontier player Xemphis. I then took a break and started to catch up with the Brave Frontier players, Jeremy going so far as to ask me to beat Maxwell for him. I just told him he needs to get his Copra to 6* to stand a chance.

Later on, the two bands came and played. Midway through the band performances, I saw my classmate Andre and we noticed more of our classmates having SODA CANS in their hands and throwing them at the crowd.

They have really good aim, and the people in the crowd were poised to catch the cans, but we were still concerned about what the flying freak would happen if they missed and hit someone's head. We relayed this concern to our classmate Michael, and he expressed the same concern. And so we told those in the area about this concern...

Let's just say that we managed to have no injuries from that incident, and that most of us have taken to giving out the soda by hand. And people were shaking the cans and opening them so that a huge fountain of soda erupted when the opened the can. And they sprayed the soda at their friends.

Insert Not Making This Up Disclaimer here.

Then...the DJ performance started, and this is where the insanity happens.

Okay, so mineral water was given for free, right? Great! It's raining? I guess it's fine, let's just enjoy the musi- OKAY WHO THE HECK SPRAYED ME WITH WATER COME ON FESS UP

...yeah. I got drenched twice before evacuating to the sidelines. And I helped with distribution of the glowsticks, so yeah. I saw soda being sprayed too, so I was very thankful to have evacuated to the sidelines...

Another reason is that the bass was too strong for me. I literally could feel my heart slamming to my ribcage every time there's a huge THUMP. Hey, I'm a fan of J-Rock (FUNKIST and BACK-ON, anyone?), but this is just too loud...not to mention most of us were near the speakers...

It did not stop me from watching the dance-off that occurred in the middle of the crowd, however. I saw one of my friends from the church's Confirmation Sacrament Prep breakdancing in the crowd, and my classmate Melino joined in on the fun as well.

(Welp, looks like I mentioned all of the Physics students. It's just me, Michael, Andre, and Melino.)

When nighttime came, the second DJ performance was up (Astronaughty, I believe), and the crowd was in full swing.

IT WAS REALLY LOUD.

And we were tasked to be the 'barricades', so that people will not stand too close to the stage. After a while we stopped because then the people would lose their spirit and would not jump along with the music. Good idea, I believe.

It was raining by now...

We then returned to being the barricades during the fireworks show, so that people were able to see the fireworks show.

The event ended at around 8 pm, and we were ALL TIRED. My goodness.

I was only able to sit down and reply to KirinMax's messages at around 8.20 pm. But it was a fun event, as proven by the testimonies of everyone joining.

...I look like boiled crab tbh. Forgot to put on sunscreen...

All in all, I believe the event was a success and that it was worth it. We raised almost 40 million IDR from this event, which is quite a lot, for me. We also had a lot of bonding time between classmates and schoolmates, we met old friends, and got to know new people.

So, guys, Grade 11 and Grade 10 peeps...Hero Run 2016? Yes or no?

Holy crap...wow.

2500+ pageviews! Thank you guys so much! I honestly never thought this would happen, not in a million years! I mean, gaming blogs usually don't get as much exposure compared to other blogs such as beauty blogs, right?

Also, with this post, I would like to congratulate fellow blogger Momiji, who happens to be my cousin, from the blog mocchimono! She was contacted by IASO to review one of their new products, some sort of...lip crayon? I don't know. Point is, she was contacted by a makeup company to review one of their products. WOW.

Congrats, girl, so proud of you!

...now to wait for energy for Metal Parades to get my Guardian Wyvern to Duelmex before the Light Arena starts.

The Red Room will make you fear the Internet.

'Anata wa ~ suki desu ka?'

Hey guys!

Recently, I've been reading a LOT of Japanese urban legends. The Kisaragi station, the fatal fare, Aka Manto, Teke-Teke, and Toire no Hanako are some of them. One urban legend in particular really interested me, however.

It's the Red Room. And it's creepy as hell.

Why is it creepy, however?

The original urban legend goes like this: You browse the internet, you encounter a pop-up that says 'Do you like ___?', you try to exit the pop-up, the pop-up turns to 'Do you like the Red Room?', and after that, it's all a blur. The next day, you're found in your own room, claimed to have committed suicide, and painting your entire room red. Hence the name 'Red Room'.

Someone made a flash animation that walks through the encounter with this pop-up. This is how the flash goes...

It starts off with two teenagers talking about the Red Room urban legend. The more skeptical of the two decided to do some research about the Red Room and finds nothing. He goes on his usual web activities when the pop-up shows up. Things play out like the urban legend, however, after the screen goes red, names start appearing. These names are the names of those who have fallen victim to the Red Room curse. The main protagonist notices two names in the end: his friend's name, and his name. He then notices an ominous presence behind him...

The next day, he is found dead, having 'committed suicide' and painting the room red with his own blood. When the flash finishes, if pop-ups aren't disabled, a pop-up similar to the one in the story appears.

Scary? Probably. Unnerving? Highly possible. But then again, it's all fiction. NOTHING WRONG can happen because of this flash...right?

But then the Sasebo Slashing happened.

The Sasebo Slashing is...really, really disturbing. Imagine a 12-year-old girl murdering her classmate because said classmate insulted the girl.  The classmate was murdered with a utility knife, and her body was slashed to pieces...

The 12-year-old girl, known as Nevada-tan, admitted to murdering her classmate.

Investigations happened, and we find out that the number-one bookmark in Nevada-tan's computer browser is the Red Room flash animation.

...yeah...creepy as hell...

So...

Anata wa akai heya ga suki desu ka?

Iie. Watashi wa akai heya ga kirai desu!

...don't sue me, I'm self-teaching myself Japanese with anime and Vocaloid.

But even with all of these, I have some...requirements, see. Here they are:

1. THE most important: Gift accordingly, please!
2. Grahdens, Divine Gale, Ares Excelsior, and Five Light leaders are prioritized. For Five Light and Divine Gale leaders, I accept 5* and 6* forms. You don't need to max out stats, but make sure they SURVIVE in the Agni Region.

And...I guess that's it. Go ahead and pop me a friend request if you'd like to!

Status Update!

I'm starting school tomorrow...

I'm taking the IB course this year in my new school. I have a feeling that the learning will get intense within one or two weeks, so...

I won't be able to update both my blogs often now, but I'll try to update at least once a week.

Thanks for understanding!

Ten Seconds... (A short story)

This is actually a little something I came up with while doing a 100 Themes Challenge. The theme is 'Ten Seconds', I started writing...and came up with this.

Link to original challenge: http://british-prophetess.deviantart.com/art/100-Themes-Challenge-Various-Prompts-285828405

----

Ten seconds.

That's generally how long our conversations last.

You were the slightly awkward boy who felt out-of-place in a crowd where there were few who knew you. And I was the loud, seemingly cheerful and upbeat girl that decided to approach you.

"I feel so out of place. I don't know anyone here." You say.

"Hey, we're talking." I reply.

I swore I saw you smile slightly.

~

Ten seconds.

The swapping of my outer personae...

The upbeat, cheerful person you see is just a mask. Deep inside, my mind is a very dark place, of inner demons and monsters, of trust issues and abandonment issues.

Perhaps you noticed. How I carry myself in social media and in real life. It's almost perfectly identical. I am almost always happy, and I make my frustrations seem funny and entertaining, as if those things mean nothing to me.

Because that's how the world wants to see me.

~

Ten seconds.

It can take a mere ten seconds to lose a friend.

Because the moment I take off my mask and show my inner self, people will leave me. They don't like me for who I am inside. My friends who accept me no matter what, I can no longer meet often. It hurts.

And so I put on my mask. The mask of a happy, cheerful, and upbeat person. In hopes that someone will be my friend...

So now I ask you...

If I take off my mask, will you stay?

Just for ten seconds after I take off my mask.

Ten seconds...it means a lot to me.

Ten seconds.

----

This is sorta based on my real life experiences. I act cheerful and upbeat because that's how people want to see me as. My old classmates would only converse with me if I was happy. It's heartbreaking...

I wrote this mainly because, frankly, I've been feeling like sh!t after the last few days of school and the IG exams, where my presence was practically not acknowledged. I practically LIVED for the messages that came through the Brave Frontier group my math tutor made. It got better, especially after the camp, but still...some days, I can't help it.

It's really funny how many people still say that I have that childish innocence in me, acting like I'm younger than my age. It's just my mask. Deep inside, I'm not like that. Get me in late nights to get a glimpse of the real me: a dark, brooding person who thinks of the weirdest sh!t, who has trust and abandonment issues.

In the Angel's Notes from the camp, the note with the (seemingly) male handwriting mentioned about how I am an 'energetic and happy' person.

Whoever sent that, if you are reading this, I ask you...

Will you still be my friend after reading about my inner self?

All my rage...

...it's directed at Mare. This will get a bit 'ranty' in nature, so be warned! Also, SPOILER ALERT!

For those who haven't reached the Agni Region yet, the mysterious woman who appears in Ryvern is called Mare. And why is all my rage directed at her?

There's a list we can go through, and I'm sure there are more reasons, but here's what I can come up with right now. I'm still at Ryvern Mountains, the light area of Ryvern, and I'm waiting for energy to recharge...as well as finding ways to make sure my Magistra Lira won't die quickly.

The first thing that comes to mind is the second time we get to see her on-screen, in the water area of Ryvern. She just comes up, introduces herself, and STARTS PISSING OFF KARL. Like, how...

Now, I see Karl as one of the calmer people in the storyline, bested only by Paris, Elder Grahdens, and the player character (who doesn't show emotions anyways, unless verbally noted by another character). So, how does Mare piss Karl off?

Let's start with the basic things. She talked sh!t about Elder Grahdens, who took care of Karl when he was a baby. YES, Karl was an orphan. Then, she proceeded to talk about how the Elder BRAINWASHED him into thinking all that he knows is not the truth, and says that he must 'follow her to see the truth'. Karl was freakishly pissed off and CHASED AFTER HER. Oh wow.

I felt like punching her in the face right then and there. I also heard that she could be FARMED like Zebra in a future map. Great...

Second thing: she kidnapped Karl. Not gonna lie, she kidnapped Karl. She kidnapped one of the strongest extra bosses in the freaking game. Okay, that might be an exaggeration, but STILL. This is KARL we're talking about. She's holding him hostage in the final area of Ryvern.

Third thing, she injured Seria pretty badly just to give a message to us. Mare's probably like 'Hey, it's nice to see you protecting your friend, but I'm gonna be a total @$$ and send a group of minions after you while I take blue-haired guy here! Oh, and I'm keeping you alive, but you better tell his friend that I took him hostage! Toodle-loo!'

And now Seria's back in Elgaia, recovering from her wounds, and we're venturing into the mountains. ALONE, since Tillith went with Seria. At least we meet Elder Grahdens near the mountains. And he seems pissed too, but doesn't show it much.

And final, rather odd thing. Why in the name of Gaia is she called MARE?! (facepalms)

And...I guess that ends my rant. I don't know why I got a bit worked up over her (understatement of the century), but maybe it's because Karl IS my favorite NPC in Brave Frontier. I really, really want him in my squad.

Bye guys!

BF JP version!!!

It took me forever to finally get the JP version of Brave Frontier. I actually managed to download it already, but downloads take a hell of a long time...well, wi-fi here in Indonesia is pretty slow, and the JP version has a lot of content that Global won't have for another 5 months or so.

Anyways, I'm really excited to see what the JP version has. I'd really love to have my 6* Lodin soon, and 6* Lilith, that new dark unit Zephyr or something... I recently Rare Summoned a Lira in my Global account (Lord), and got a Magress (Guardian) in the Oboro dungeon (first encounter first drop lol). I'll be doing Nemia's dungeon non-stop for another Lance.

That's really all I wanted to say. I got the info on how to download the JP Brave Frontier here: http://www.bravefrontierforum.net/threads/japanese-download-tutorial-for-ios.923/

My player ID in JP: 23603487 (current leader Pikeman Lance)

My player ID in Global: 87290497 (leaders swap between Cyborg Lilith II, Drake God Lodin, Holy Earth Lance, Holy Flame Vargas, Holy Light Atro, Sea King Mega, Death Magress, Holy Thunder Eze, and Frost Queen Stya, but is usually Cyborg Lilith II)

My player name: Raiko

...It's the same for both JP and Global.

Camp experiences

There is a slight...technical issue for the post. I have little to no pictures, since literally all the time was used for activities, cooking, eating, and socializing. Oh, and Brave Frontier. It's saying something when all the male organizers are Brave Frontier players, and two of the participants are also Brave Frontier players: me and KirinMax. Yep, finally met him in real life.

At first, I was really excited because I seriously wanted to meet KirinMax and everyone in the Brave Frontier group in real life. Stupid reason, I know. Also, I at least wanted to see some of my friends before I start going to school in SMN, since Kayla, Jessica, Jeanette, Kaylin, and Audrey were joining.

We arrived at the gathering area at approximately 9.00 am, 'we' being my cousins and myself. We were immediately ushered on to the bus. I sat down at the front with a quiet girl called Tesa, and my cousins sat behind me. To the right of them were two boys: one tall and the other one who seemed to be in primary school.

Later on, during the journey to the hotel, I found out that the tall boy was KirinMax. His name was Joshua, which was pretty awkward for me because I have a friend who was named Joshua as well, and he's in Sec 1. Once my cousins found out, they teased me endlessly.

Can't believe that on the way to the hotel, we played a game. I was punished by my younger cousin, and was pretty much forced to sing a song IN THE BUS. I was going to do 'This Game' by Konomi Suzuki, 'Rennai Yuusha' by Gumi (kradness cover), or 'The Snow White Princess is...' by Miku (Piko cover), but ended up being forced to do 'Choir Jail' by Konomi Suzuki. The only way I survived was because I had earphones on to play the song while I was singing, and that I did NOT look at the video camera that seemed to be taking a video of me. GAAAAHHH. I have yet to exact my revenge on her.

Getting to the hotel, we started off by chilling out for a while and eating lunch. Then there was a lot of talking and group dividing for the games, and a small 'Angel's Note', where we are supposed to write something for a person, something positive like advice or compliments. Yeah... We had to send to a random person, and the rest, we can send to whoever we want.

We cooked baso tahu: a dish of minced fish meat on tofu, in soup, fried, or steamed. It went okay, until the meat pretty much detached themselves from the tofu. My cousins' team, along with Kayla, Audrey, and Jessica, had the worst experience with detaching meat: pretty much all of their tofu were bare.

More games and talking. The game I remember the most on day one was the game where we had to spin around for 5 or 10 turns before trying to get a rubber band, held by our team leaders, and having to get back to the start as soon as possible. My head was spinning for a good remainder of the day.

We cooked dinner after that, fried rice. Paaahhh...my team did something wrong with the second batch of fried rice. We placed the green vegetables early so they didn't look nice when the food was served. The smaller kids: Kevin, Victor, and Natasha, were in charge of putting all the things in the wok. I had to cut everything, and Tesa pretty much cooked the rice.

We went to our rooms to put our stuff after that. Apparently, my cousins and I, along with Kaylin and Audrey, were in the same villa, along with an organizer, Ci Mega. Beside our villa was the other girls' villa. Across ours was the rooms of a few primary school kids, and, a room filled with three other members of the Brave Frontier group I was in. That was a sour spot.

Another game, another punishment. I was cursed that day, end of story.

Then there was a talk about how we should be happy and thankful for what we have now, for our parents, and the like. All the girls pretty much cried, me included. Not so sure about the boys, though. Really can't say anything about it, because GOD, it was an extremely emotionally charged session words cannot do it justice.

Then the barbeque came up. A large majority of us stood near the grills to warm up. Some took walks around the area, others gave up and went to the villa first to get some shut-eye. Kayla and her friends wanted to sleep in the main room, but ended up going 'screw this I'm outta here' and pretty much went up to the villa again. At that moment, there was only Tesa, my cousins, myself, and Joshua, apart from the organizers and Kayla's group.

That night I evolved Commander Mega to Sea King Mega before sleeping, lol.

Morning call was SUPPOSED to be at 6.00 am, but ended up being at 6.30 am, the time I fully woke up, along with a large majority of others. We all walked around for a while and ate breakfast a few hours later, at 8.00 am, I think.

More games and sessions, along with a first-aid guide, and a big game in the end. We had to finish sending out Angel's Notes, and had to do a presentation about a word we got at the end of the big game, along with sharing what we feel about the camp. Again, my cousins teased me when I said, "I don't think I knew anyone else except for my cousins, and my friends from school. I mean, I know Joshua, but this was pretty much the first time we met in person.'

Of course we ate lunch! Right before the Angel's Notes were to be read, too!

As for the Angel's Notes...I'm pretty sure I got a double from one of my cousins. Great. Like I said, I have yet to exact my revenge on them. Especially when my elder cousin said I found my 'other half'. I know there's two from the organizers (one of them, I'm pretty sure it was from my tutor), one from Kayla's group of friends (I'm thinking Jessica), THREE from my cousins (elder cousin sent double, from what I can see in handwriting), and one that I have a slight idea, but I don't want to jump to conclusions. Looks like a boy's handwriting, and it seems to be the stipulated one, as the name and the message has different handwriting. It's in English too. Joshua, I think?

I had to send to Jeanette, and I also sent to Joshua and my younger cousin, along with a large joint message for Jessica, Kayla, Kaylin, and Audrey. So...yeah. There was free time, and we went home after. Free time was spent with kids (and a few elder ones) playing in the pools, some girls taking selfies, and a few just loitering around.

On the way back, my cousins and I were talking about watching the new Black Butler movie. We invited Joshua, but he declined. Bummer...I was actually hoping to get to know him more, he seems like an interesting guy, just a bit on the silent side.

Photos will hopefully come in a few days time, but this is all I can say for now. It was a really fun experience, and I would love to join again next year. And on that note, bye guys!

Excited.

So, holiday season has started. You know what that means: video games, relaxation, hanging out, drawing, video games, internet, reading, video games, writing fanfics, video games, and video games. Did I mention video games yet? Also, I will be able to update this blog more often. Heck, I already have my next post planned out: item farming for mono teams in general, but I'll be focusing on mono earth.

This blog may not be seen by many people, but I would like to thank you if you took the time to read any of my posts. I mean, I've been getting on and off, and this used to be my Global Perspectives blog, but now it's a video game blog. Totally different ends of the spectrum.

Speaking of blogs, the other day, I stumbled upon my elder cousin's blog that she runs with her friend. They're both beauty bloggers and I commented on one of her posts. It seems like she doesn't realize that it's me who posted the comment... Oh well. Gonna reply and see if she finds out who the hell AoiSenri is.

So, now you guys might be wondering, why the hell am I excited? You see, tomorrow there will be some sort of summer camp, organized by my math tutor. He's also a Brave Frontier player by the in-game name of Chery. It also marks the day that I will meet up with some of my friends, like Wilosbp (a Brave Frontier player as well) and his classmates. It will ALSO mark the day I will meet KirinMax, another Brave Frontier player around my age, in real life.

Now, you may be wondering how I can meet a person and NOT know them in real life. Well, my tutor made a Brave Frontier group a few months back, and we started chatting in the group, and, eventually, in private. He's a great guy and we have a lot in common. We love Pokemon, Vocaloid, anime, J-Pop, and, of course, Brave Frontier. Apparently, he went to AFA ID 2013 on the same date as I did, but we never met.

So, tomorrow, I will NOT be able to post anything. I'll be back on Friday to talk about the camp, however, so stay tuned.

Have a modernized Seria sketch now.

What do you guys think? Does it still look like her? Let me know, please!

On that note, see you later, fellow Summoners!

Persona videos being taken down?!

Shinjiro Aragaki died on the 4th of October, during the Dark Hour...and that day also happens to be the bonding camp at school...

Pssh, yeah. Bonding in our own groups, more like. -__-"

So, now... IGCSE Bahasa Indonesia sudah mendekat.

Okay, that sucked and failed.

We need to use proper and formal Bahasa Indonesia in the exam, something I am extremely weak in.

On a side note...

A few weeks ago, I wanted to listen to more songs from Persona 4 and 3. I bookmarked the playlist created by Slayer0, because he uploads songs of good quality, and even has the Voice Mix Arranges. Awesome, really. But, then...friggin' Youtube says that the playlist 'does not exist'. Needless to say, I got pretty pissed off. Imagine what happens when a cranky Chie Satonaka finds out that a certain Yosuke Hanamura entered her in a beauty pageant. Yeah. I was THAT pissed.

So, then, I did some digging around and found out that Slayer0's account was suspended because of copyright claims from this Russian person on Youtube.

I did some more digging around (thank you Google) and found out that this person is a 'sketch comedian and news presenter'. She (said person is a female) claims copyright for a number of Persona soundtracks and gameplay videos. Searching her name online with the word 'Persona' brings up a link to a website called 'Persona Stars'.

What. The. Heck.

How can a RUSSIAN person claim copyright for a FRANCHISE (from JAPAN, no less) that came out BEFORE this 'Persona Stars' website was even on the internet?!

It's not just Persona videos too that got hit by copyright claims, from what I have seen in the NeoGAF forum thread regarding this issue. Catherine, Shin Megami Tensei IV, as well as Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne... Videos about these games are getting copyright claims as well.

My reaction? Youtube needs to get their sh*t straight. Pardon my rough language, but it must be said. Do they even do any research before deciding to suspend a channel for a suspected copyright?!

Because of this one person, a bunch of accounts have been suspended. Slayer0, TheUltimateOneJPS, PhoenonX, and AsukaCrystalRose, among others, have had their accounts suspended. Song covers have also been flagged for copyright, from what I have heard. EVEN the anime opening theme, Sky's the Limit, was flagged, as the video, taken from Youtube, was taken down and was said to be 'not found' in Megami Tensei Wikia. Only ONE song from the anime was safe, from what I have seen, not counting the songs that came from the video game, and it was the second opening, Key Plus Words. Beauty of Destiny and Sky's the Limit were pretty much screwed, especially the full versions of the original.

Besides, think about it. If this lady wants to screw Atlus over, why doesn't she just flag Atlus for copyright?! Yeesh!

Besides...she's messing with the wrong fandom. She just made every Atlus fan, particularly fans of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, extremely pissed off, me included. I mean, I heard that the Hiimdaisy comic dubs are down! WHAT!

Atlus needs to know about this. This is going too far!

AFA ID 2013!!!

Okay, so my cousin joined the cosplay club in her school, and she brought her sister and I to the Anime Festival Asia, held at the Plenary Hall or something. (Bandung born and raised, so I have little to no idea of how Jakarta is oriented). And HOLY MOLY IT WAS AWESOME.

It's THE anime event of the year here in Indonesia, so the line to get in the exhibition was already crazy long. We managed to get in by 'joki tiket', where we buy a ticket at a higher price from someone who already bought tickets by bulk in the first place.

Once we were inside...WHOA. So many cosplayers I can't even. And the anime merchandise... THAT YUKIKO FIGURINE WAS Rp 900,000,-!!!!! And that smaller Jiraiya, Izanagi, Yukiko, and Yu figurines were Rp 850,000,-! My budget is only Rp 750,000,-.... T_T So sad, I know.

I was identifying characters left and right, and my cousin and I started counting the amount of Hatsune Miku cosplayers. We counted at least 12...

There was a concert, but we bought the exhibition ticket, so we didn't watch it. So, we just took pictures with cosplayers, though I was too shy and only took pictures with 4 cosplayers... I didn't take my camera out, so I didn't take a picture of everything, I only took it out when I wanted to take a picture with a cosplayer. So sad...

The characters I saw were...
Bossun - Sket Dance
Minato Arisato -Persona 3 (NEARLY took a picture with him, but I was too shy...)
Hibiki Kuze -Devil Survivor 2 (There were 3 of them, and one even brought Byakko!)
KAITO -Vocaloid (There were 2 that I saw, I think.)
Gakupo Kamui -Vocaloid
Ragna the Bloodedge -BlazBlue (Only saw T_T)
Hazama -BlazBlue (Wanted to take a picture with him, but Hazama is scary...)
Len Kagamine -Vocaloid (There were 3 that I saw.)
Rin Kagamine -Vocaloid (Only saw 2. I wonder why?)
Miku Hatsune -Vocaloid (Like I said, at least 12 Mikus were there.)
Yuno Gasai -Mirai Nikki
Yosuke Hanamura -Persona 4 (My personal favorite, actually. Because Captain Ressentiment is that awesome.)
Naoto Shirogane -Persona 4 (Awesome cosplay too! I loved the MegaTen cosplays.)
Yata Misaki -K Project (My cousin's friend and I took a picture with his cosplayer, and the cosplayer was AWESOME.)
Killua Zoldyck -Hunter X Hunter (Was with Naoto's cosplayer when I met them.)
Lightning Farron -Final Fantasy 13 (A LOT of people were taking a picture with her. Wow.)
Thanatos -Persona 3 (I was shocked. Mainly because I was playing Persona 3 and was summoning Thanatos when the Thanatos cosplayer showed up.)
Saber -Fate/Stay Night
Teddie -Persona 4 (Wanted to take a picture with him, but we were on separate floors.)
Kuroko Tetsuya -Kuroko no Basket
Aomine Daiki -Kuroko no Basket
Kise Ryouta -Kuroko no Basket
L -Death Note
Slenderman -Slender: The 7 Pages (WTF. I nearly ran from him, but my cousin took a picture with him...)
England -Axis Powers Hetalia
South Korea -Axis Powers Hetalia (HOW DO YOU MAKE THE CURL GODDAMMIT?!)
China -Axis Powers Hetalia
Taiwan -Axis Powers Hetalia
Hong Kong -Axis Powers Hetalia
Xion -Kingdom Hearts

One of the highlights was the Maid and Butler Cafe. It was pretty nice, the food's pretty good, and the butlers all looked good. The 2 hour wait was worth it, apparently. And my cousins took a picture with the butlers. I NEARLY did, but pulled out at the last minute...and after that, we met the Yosuke cosplayer, and it all went downhill because I let my imagination get the better of me... He's my favorite Persona character, for crying out loud! If only he got the kunais... And if only the Minato cosplayer was holding his Evoker and doing that pose when he summons his Persona...

There was the Animax booth with a cosplay or something. I was at Sony Music when my cousin and her friend were there. There were a lot of people wearing the Yasogami High jacket, makes me want one as well! T_T Though everyone wearing those jackets were guys.

It's too bad the characters weren't in-character when I met them... How I knew? Captain Ressentiment wouldn't be so silent if he was in character. Not that I'm complaining. Seeing a Yosuke cosplayer definitely made my month-make that my year.

I bought something for my friend (I promised), as well as cute Naoto and Kanji pin, from the shops in the lower floor. There wasn't any Persona 3 merchandise, and there was no Yu and Yosuke pin... (cries in corner) Well, at least I got Naoto! She's my favorite Persona 4 female character, favorite female Persona character goes to Aigis. I love her so much.

I don't know how nitrogen ice-cream works, but it's pretty good. Yeah...I need an explanation... Time to consult Google...I think...

Oh, and to answer the question about the Persona fanbase... It's quite big here. I'm serious.

And now for something completely random...

"AAAAGGGHH!!! OOOHHHH! NOOOOOO!!!"
"What?! Huh?! What?!"
"Oh, man, I CAN'T HOLD IT ANYMORE!!!"
"GEEZ, THAT WAS IT?! What are you doing, you can't just pee here, in someone's room! Narukami, would you please stop him?!"
"? Why would I do that?"
"Huh?"

-Yosuke expresses his surprise in the most eloquent way possible.
"I HAVE TO PEE!!!!!!!"
(after many 'I have to pee's later...)
"You guys, I HAVE TO PEE. SO BAD. I'M GONNA PEE. RIGHT. NOW!!!!"
(awkward silence)
"OKAY NEVER MIND."

Oh Yosuke, you tickle my funny bone. XD

I'll probably add more details as I remember them and probably upload pictures of my cousins and I, you never know... I was only there on the 7th of September, but I'll try to remember as much as possible.

Well, see you later!

What's happening to my life...

What's going on with my life?! First, we're taking the IGCSEs. Okay, I can live with that. Then, we have Additional Math on top of the usual Math (Extended Math). Fine, Math is one of my favorite subjects after all. Then, our teacher suddenly up and tells us that we're finishing the book for Additional Math, which is supposed to be finished in two years, mind you, in 10 WEEKS. Oh man. Then, on the FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL, we're starting with one of the most confusing topics: Differentiation. Sure...though it's getting crazier... THEN we're taking the Bahasa IGCSEs this year. Urk...

Is this seriously the start of the freaking school year?! Not to mention that we're taking pure Physics and pure Biology...and more...oh man... We're kicking this year off in full gear, and we're not going to stop until after the IGCSEs. Our school days are 7 hours now, 8 on Mondays and Fridays because of the Bahasa IGCSEs. And to think that I'm the only surviving senior member of the Math Club among the people in my class... I think I've got a date with Death later this year, and I'm NOT talking about Ryoji.

Funny thing is, after a while of being battered by homework every single day, you eventually just shrug it off like it's nothing. During the start of the school year, I was panicking since I was scared that I wouldn't finish my homework in time. Now, I'm just like 'Oh, new homework? For tomorrow? Aces, chief. Let's see if I can get my lesson teacher to let me out early. If not, I'll just reduce my relaxing time, or finish a part of the homework at school.' It's just been 3 weeks, but STILL...

And, of course, there's the issues with my hobbies. I've recently watched Persona 4 The Animation and... I'm sorry, I need to rant a little. Spoiler alert!

Dammit, Saki Konishi! Yousuke CLEARLY cared for you and fell in love with you, and you didn't seem to care about him, even having the gall to call him 'annoying'! You should listen to how Yousuke talks about you, Saki. He's talking like you're the best woman in the world! Yeesh! He was DEVASTATED when you were murdered, for crying out loud! He's a really nice guy when you get to know him, though he can be insensitive sometimes... BUT, that's what makes him who he is! (shot, otherwise rant would take too long)...and yes, I remember the Hiimdaisy comic dub more than the actual anime, so sorry for any inconsistencies with the explanation. (blasted by Elizabeth's 9999-damage Megidolaon)

Sigh... I'm sorry, it's just that people who are like Saki get me riled up a little, though even THAT may be an understatement. It's one of the reasons why I like guys such as Yousuke, since when he loves someone, he LOVES that person and stays loyal to that person no matter what. Yousuke is just like Persona 3's Junpei, only, I'm sorry, but this is my opinion, Yousuke is better-looking compared to Junpei. Just saying! It's the headphones! I like guys with headphones, dammit! Also, I can only determine whether a guy is...erm...hot...when I get his personality. The guys who are always loyal to their friends always drew me in for some reason...even though they're usually handed the short end of the stick.

On another note, my cousins invited me to go to an anime convention or something in Jakarta this Saturday! Nice change of pace from the gut-busting work we were given for the past few days. Natch, weeks. Since there's an extreme lack of events like these in Bandung, well, I'm excited. Either that, or I don't know where anime conventions are held here in Bandung. I'm looking for Persona 4 cosplayers and merchandise! See if their cosplays are similar to the characters... I blame searching for pictures of the characters and seeing AMAZING cosplays of them. One Yu Narukami cosplay was...really similar to the dude. And that one Squall Leonhart cosplayer was also amazing... It's also a chance for me to find out if the Persona fanbase here in Indonesia is big...since I'm the only person who is an avid RPG gamer in the whole entire school, mainly because I don't stick with a genre of games, I play a lot of different genres: RPG, Fighting, Rhythm Action, Puzzle, Strategy... But, I tend to stick with RPGs.

That really took a lot out of my heart. This blog is, perhaps, the only place where I'm truly allowed to be myself...

Well, that was just LOW.

So, I was browsing the web when I happened to stumble upon the new consoles from the 3 biggest players in the video game console industry. Nintendo has the Wii U, Sony has the PS4, while Microsoft has the Xbox One.
Now, we've been getting a whole lot of hype for them, that's for sure. All the big players of the video game industry are making games for them! For the Wii U, we're going to have the newest Super Smash Bros installment (Which has Mega Man, an Animal Crossing villager and the Wii Fit coach as playable characters! Let's hope Earthbound gets more characters. That game is SO underrated.), Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem (Now, how will that work out, I wonder? Pretty interesting concept, though.), Mario Kart 8... For the PS4, there will be Kingdom Hearts 3 (FINALLY! I'm hoping Squall, Cloud and Tidus are in it, along with other Final Fantasy and TWEWY characters.), Final Fantasy 15 (About time Final Fantasy gets more realistic and starts going away from the usual hack-and-slash weapons. This game has FPS elements, so let's see if it will work out in the end. Which, considering that it IS Square Enix, they will do a very good job in it.), Metal Gear Solid 5... Xbox One has a new Call of Duty game, along with Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy 15.
However, I do not really like how Microsoft has been marketing their product. I've seen some news about a person wearing a Microsoft shirt, going around at Best Buy stores, trying to convince people that are looking at the Wii U or are participating in the Wii U events to buy the Xbox One. It is generally thought of that this person is a Microsoft employee. Or perhaps, really a Microsoft employee.
I also heard that the applause at the Xbox One Event was fake.
Because of the BestBuy incident and the fake applause incident, Microsoft has gained much hate from gamers. They just blow them off when the Microsoft employee would tell them to buy a Xbox One.
The reasons people don't want to buy an Xbox One? No backwards compatibility, the requirement of broadband to play ALL games... That alone is already a stick in the mud.
Not only that, the employees are targeting the WRONG market. Seriously people, we're talking about Nintendo here. They're in a league of their own. Nintendo games tend to be more family-friendly compared to Xbox and PS games. I mean, take a look at the Super Smash Bros series. It's a fighting game, yes, but it isn't as rough as the likes of Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter and Soul Calibur. And though I can be considered a video game junkie and a fan of fighting games, my favorite fighting games are Super Smash Bros Brawl and Dissidia Duodecim, and Super Smash Bros Brawl is easier to pick up and play. I spent a lot of time in Dissidia, trying to link Zidane's Meo Twister with the Kuja Assist I set him up with, then connect by going behind the opponent (press X when the prompt shows), then hitting him with another Meo Twister. It's all in good fun (and the feeling of accomplishment when you get a combo done), but if you're looking for a game that's simpler than that, Super Smash Bros Brawl is the game.
If you're going to sway customers to buy your console, Microsoft, target the Sony market. They have similar games as to yours. Besides, Nintendo fans are VERY loyal. The only consoles I have played on is the PS1, PS2, GBA, NDS lite, NDSi, NDSiXL, Wii, and PSP. Note that more than half of them are Nintendo consoles. Practically all the games I have come from producers producing for Nintendo consoles, whether exclusively or not. Pokemon, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Sonic, Tetris, Puyo Puyo, Final Fantasy, Kirby, Picross, BlazBlue, Shin Megami Tensei, TWEWY... I don't play Call of Duty or Counterstrike. I just can't play on a computer. Besides, all the good games are all on the consoles. Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Mario, The World Ends With You, anyone? The scores for these games are usually at the 90% range.
On another note, even though I am not that good in Business though I take it for the IGCSEs, I can tell what Microsoft is doing is NOT proper business conduct. There are better ways to market your product, but bad-mouthing your competitors will get you NOWHERE. The Xbox One was considered a step back for some of the people I've seen on Deviantart. It costs MORE than the PS4 and Wii U, promising quality through its pricing strategy but...the company already gained a bad image through the fake applause stunt, and now this.
One thing's for sure though. Games for the Xbox aren't really my cup of tea. I play Nintendo games usually. The most mature game I've ever played might be BlazBlue (for all the cursing), Soul Calibur (for the armor breaks), Dissidia (for Cloud of Darkness and Ultimecia), or Shin Megami Tensei (that one scene in Persona 3's pretty gory). So, there's already a huge chance that I won't buy an Xbox One. And now, the chance got even slimmer. Way to go, Microsoft. Way to shoot yourself in the leg AGAIN and get more bad image for yourself. You know, now people are starting to think that you're a company that's all for the money and not for the gamers. You need to start realizing that what you are doing is WRONG and hopefully, HOPEFULLY, get yourself out of the hole you just dug for yourself.
Seriously, Microsoft. Smart move. I'll probably get the Wii U for the Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart and SMT X Fire Emblem. If a new Dissidia comes up, I'd probably buy it, but I'm more of a Nintendo person.
I'd LOVE to send Kuja after Microsoft. And Kuja can destroy an entire planet with an Ultima spell. Just saying.

Just some random crap about me.

Hello world! It's been a few years since I made this blog and I feel that this introduction needs an update, since I've changed a lot since then...

So, here you go!

Name (aka what I'd like you to refer to me as)

Raiko or AoiSenri. Any of those.

General stuff about me

- I'm taking the IB Diploma, and I'm in the process of writing my Extended Essay (on psychology, no less!) AND am currently thinking of IA ideas for Physics and Business, so please forgive me if I don't update this blog often.
- I'm one of the guys so it's no wonder if I'll remain single for a VERY long time.
- KirinMax, my brother from another mother, seems to be convinced I'm a tsundere, based on my reactions towards him whenever the topic of my crush (who I'm quite close with) comes up. I beg to differ.
- I'm a dark person.
- I NEED all the facts you can give me before I can make a sound judgement. I don't let my emotions run the show most of the time.
- Sexual innuendos fly over my head, but show me stuff like that and most likely you'll scar me.
- I'm shy in real life, but get to know me and I can chat your ear off.
- I smile a lot near people I'm comfortable with.
- If I'm not smiling, then it either means I'm deep in thought, or I'm angry, annoyed, pissed, or just DGAF. It is not wise for you to tease me in times like this because I will SNAP and feel no remorse.
- I'm the only Physics girl in my class, as well as being the youngest in class.
- I'm a bit on the antisocial side.
- I have a crush on one of my classmates (not gonna say who he is, maybe his name's written here?), but I don't care what he does as long as he's happy and what he does is what he feels is the best decision for him. :)
- I used to be bullied and I was painfully quiet and shy, but people such as KirinMax, Jen, Mel, Mike, Melina, and David have been slowly moving me out of that phase, whether they know it or not. I'm really thankful to have friends like them. ^^
- This smile of mine can be either genuine or a mask. Can anyone differentiate it, I wonder?

Hobbies

Drawing, listening to music, playing video games, reading, watching anime/Youtubers, talking with friends and hanging out with them, people-watching, stargazing, singing (when no one is watching), learning about human behavior, making (sucky) translyrics

Likes

J-RPGs, puzzle games, rhythm games, good food, learning about other cultures, tea, chocolate milk, psychological-horror manga/anime, tragedies, dark Vocaloid songs, Tokyo Ghoul, Persona series, Tales of series, J-Rock, rock music in general, Vocaloid, Utaite, Danganronpa, Corpse Party, Higurashi, Kagerou Project, myths and legends, and many others~

Dislikes

Onions, bell peppers, beating around the bush, speaking in public, stupid Internet trends (#cut4insertcelebrityname comes into mind). I am actually a very tolerant person.

I hate racists, people who stereotype, judgmental people, vengeful people, bullies, people who blow things out of proportion, unforgiving people...

Bottom line: If you judge people without trying to understand their situation or their train of thought, more than likely I won't have a high opinion of you. What pisses me off more are unforgiving people and people who hold grudges.
